The brain seems to carry out nearly all its sensory perception using generic, interchangeable modules, each of which learns (from scratch) to represent and process whatever signals it is exposed to. But what does each module actually do?
Imagine a blue sky with a few fluffy clouds lazily passing through. Allow every arising thought to lazily pass through your mind like those clouds, barely noticed.
Often we feel the need to find some tranquility. We need to step away find some peace in meditation so we can let go of our daily worries and cleanse them from our beings.
Meditation is becoming aware of this vital stillness and hearing within that stillness. It is naturally present before you become attached to thoughts and things; before you identify with thought-feeling-reaction.
