I really agree with what he said :-) about if you think too much about what it means to meditate successfully, it can be an obstacle. I would get so wrapped up in this that I would be unable to cleanse my mind–I would keep thinking, “Am I doing this right?” Then I came across one of Tolle’s books on meditation that helped me understand how individual it is to each of us: there is no right way to meditate (or a wrong way). It is a path for each of us to define and walk down.
Interesting video, TT!

I’ve been reading his books so it was great to find his videos and I particularly like this one.
I read The Power Of Now many years ago, well maybe 10 years ago, and got great meaning from it. This is the first time I’ve seen him on vedeo or heard his voice. Very hypnotic voice. And a funny guy! I really am intrigued to see more of his clips!
Hey, just to let you know, I came here from Fatima’s blog. She had hilighted yours and my blogs on her list of blogs to watch. Cool!
@Jannie
Thanks so much for your comment and for telling me you came from Fatima’s wonderful blog. I have had a really bad time with my health this winter and I chose not to blog about it here. (I have a private journal blog.) Throughout my recovery from Shingles and repeated fibromyalgia flare-ups, I have maintained my meditation practice and read Eckhart Tolle’s books. Yes, his voice is hypnotic and I thrive on his take on being responsible for our own consciousness. Thanks so much for visiting.
i admire eckhart tolle. He is such a fantastic inspiration for all human kind.
Glad that I stumbled apon your blog! I’ll visit often : )
.-= elizabeth lynn´s last blog ..What is the Real REALITY? =-.
I’m glad you stumbled on my blog too. We share admiration for Eckhart Tolle and “yes” I also find him inspiring.
I have gone though the book several times
I am afraid would the “enlightenment” jeopardise my worldly life?
