Try them and don’t be afraid to fool around with the recipe. Since I made these from the basic chocolate chop recipe, I have tried adding the cranberries and white chocolate chips to the basic oatmeal cookie recipe and we liked that one even more. Have a happy and healthy 2010. :)

I am not a Christian and have not taken part in that gift giving for over 30 years now. :) However, I do give my friends cookies and other small homemade tokens throughout the year. In the case of this recipe, I recommend you take the cookies out of the oven while still doughy. If you wait to long they aren’t as soft and chewy. Best wishes for 2010.
