Notice: Readers and Subscribers
Please forgive me for being behind in publishing new posts, answering comments and leaving comments this week. I have spent most of my blogging time this week arguing with blog scraping content thieves (who have stolen entire posts from both of my blogs), and sending DMCA complaints to their web hosts to get my content removed from the splog sites. I have now set my RSS feeds to summary so I can get back to blogging. I apologize for the inconvenience but I can see no other alternative.

I’m sorry to hear about this. And it’s quite sad to know that there’s still and I guess would always be people doing this kind of thing. I really can’t understand the concept of having to copy somebody’s work just for a couple of bucks. Maybe I’m naive about these things, but then again maybe I’m not.
It’s plagiarism, isn’t it? If I am to give my opinion about it, let me tell you that it totally SUCKS! Blogging should be a form of self-expression, not to mention that one should enjoy doing it. How the hell could you sit and enjoy what you’re blogging about when all you do is hunt for contents you could copy then post it in your site?
Sick, stupid, dumb, and doesn’t deserve readership.

These are cut and dried situations. I am a paralegal and I know that whatever we create is our own intellectual property whether or not we post a copyright notice as I most certainly have done. http://thistimethisspace.com/copyright/
“A brief excerpt of content that does not exceed 50 words may be quoted as long as a link is provided back to the source page on this blog and authorship is properly attributed.”
Taking a whole post without prior permission from the copyright holder is content theft – a copyright violation. I am enraged at the hell I have been put through this week and by the fact that it’s still not over.
So sad to hear about this. But I understand the feeling as someone snatched one of my blog also before and post in his blog site, copied the whole thing too. It’s ok people can always be silly sometimes.
This isn’t about being silly. These are people who have a lack of ethics and who have violated international copyright laws. They are “in business”. They blog for bucks. It behooves any business person to remain within the confines of the law.
Yes you’re right, they lack ethics. Sometimes I’m thinking how these people have the guts to post things they didn’t produce, sounds like they ran out of dignity as well. I really can’t perceive such unfairness, benefiting from the others expense and hard work to earn huge bucks. I don’t understand those people.
Sorry to hear that :(
I’m scared too if someone steals my personal blog contents.
These people should be banned (i wish we can)

Yes it sucks. Have you installed copygator?
Nope!! I don’t have any idea about copygator..
wait I’ll have to check it out.
I am sorry that you are plagued by people who are stealing your content, as a fellow blogger, I feel your pain! I know how annoying this can be. Yet, after reading Jason’s (jbartise.blogspot.com)comments about your site, I had to come over and check out the good stuff that he’s viewed in your neck of the woods.
I have to agree with him, that your skill with the “pen”, as well as what you have to say is well worth the read!
I’ll be making this site one of my favorites!
Lastly, thanks for putting out the copywrite information, I know it will help others who may face this social issue.
Continued blessings!

sorry to hear about it. i hope that these type of thing never happens to you again (or with any of us).
peace
Seriously, I did not know that you have suffered so much and I felt so sorry for you.
Great site here in deed and there are quite a few topics that I am rather interested about.
Hope all is going to be well with you
Yeah, that’s one of my pet peeves. I can’t make a dime off my own work but apparently other people are able to do well with it.
It’s infuriating. I feel for you.
