love letter
It’s past my bedtime and my husband is annoyed that I’m still banging away on this keyboard. It seems like I have been a day late and a dollar short all week. Here we are on Blog Reader Appreciation Day and I did not prepare ahead and schedule a post for publication.
What I want to say to each and every one of the readers of this blog is a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for the kindness and consideration you showed me by valuing what I wrote enough to read and comment on my posts. Thank you also for inspiring me to blog on despite my head injury and health problems.
I love you all and I want to express my gratitude for you taking the time out of your busy schedule to support me in my blogging. It’s also my hope that you will continue to extend your friendship to me for another year.
I salute you – readers rock!
I fundamentally admire the evangelical zeal with which you enthusiastically preach the gospel of great blogging. ;-)

Ha! ha! ha! Thanks so much for reading both of my blogs. :)
How could I miss that? Bloggers Appreciation Day. Funny thing is since I have my blog I feel I do not have enough time to keep up with everything that is going on around me.
It’s difficult enough to find time to write post on my own blog, let alone read other blogs ;-)
Anyway, keep up the good work.

@Patrick
It’s becoming more and more of a struggle every day to keep up with my own blogging and with my reader’s blogs too. I pruned the number of blogs that I read to a manageable level. But when things get busy at home or work that’s where my focus has to be. I hope you have a great blogging year.
Thanks for participating in Blog Reader Appreciation Day. You rock!

The thanks ought to be going the other direction IMHO. So thank you for having this great idea and for organizing through Bloggers Unite. Hopefully, next year awareness will spread and the numbers participating will swell. Best wishes for happy blogging.
Aw, shucks…Ain’t no thang! Your blog is an exception to the banal, generalized rule & I enjoy it. Keep up the good work!
Lanas last blog post..New Painting
@Lana
You just made my day lady and I can send that right back to you. Your blog is inspiring. The photos are great and the paintings are wonderful.
I missed Blogger Appreciation Day too. The Count is hardly the sharpest electron in the atom, so he would like to take a minute to tell you how much he appreciates your blog and particularly for trying to insert some intelligence into the group disscussions. They tend to wander off into religious beliefs as soon as your presence is missing and become theology spams.I believe that you mentioned you had died and been brought back twice. I died and was broght back three times during open heart surgery. I remember nothing…no fear…no tunnels of light and I recovered feeling no different than when I went under…well, except for what a wonder modern medicine is. I was coded during my recent back surgery. They overdosed me on painkillers. Again, when I came back, I remembered nothing.
So, let’s be grateful to science, as I’m sure you are. Thank you for your intelligence and taking time out of your life to make time for us. All my best. Count Sneaky

Thanks for the compliment. I’m pretty sure that not everyone would agree with you though. To tell you the truth 3 (or was it 4 ?) days ago I recognized that reading religious threads, never mind posting to them, triggered a lot of unhappiness within me. Life it to short to spend it being unhappy so I am voluntarily choosing not to post to religious threads. And, yes I’m happy to be alive and grateful that doctors and technology provided what was needed to save my life.
Thanks for reading my blog. Have a successful and satisfying blogging year. :)
Hi Timethief,
Well, I am a bit more than a day late and a dollar short because I didn’t even know this was blog appreciation day!
And to let you know–we think YOU rock too! :)
Take care,
Melinda
@Melinda
Well, what can I say? You have been such a good friend to me and I admire you so much. Your blog is outstanding and it’s bound to encourage others to seek treatment and head down the road to recovery.
Love you,
tt
Forgive the error in the second line “soHe.” The Count hardly qualifies for capital Hs. He does need a space though and better proof-reading and, as my lovely wife would say,”a few more marbles!”
@Count Sneaky
I ham visually challenged so you would not believe how many mistakes I make and don’t see until later. I have become the queen of editing :(
P.S. I edited and corrected for you. :)
Thank you for letting us read you(r blog)!

Thanks for letting me read yours. :)
Hi, timethief!
Thanks, for pointing out how important our readers are!
All I know is I was never able to keep a proper diary and yet have been able to keep a very good blog–so it just goes to show that readers are an inspiring bunch, if nothing else! ;O)
Your’e doing a lot better than I, timethief! I didn’t even understand there was this special day. I’ve found just the traditional holidays overwhelming! Hahaha!
However, I will say it here: MWAH! *big kiss* for all our wonderful readers. You’re really what makes the bloggin’ world go ’round!
&, I’m glad there are appreciative bloggers like you, timethief, to remind us of that.
Sunshine & Blessings,
Giovani

It’s good to see you sulz. :) Well a post dedicated to your readers may be belated but it will be appreciated so I say go for it. Next year will be the first anniversary.
dear tt,
you have a heart of gold!

@trisha
Thanks for the compliment. I’m enjoying your poetry so much. Please come back again soon. :)
I didn’t even know there was a blog reader appreciation day, that’s how lousy a blogger I am! I may be neglectful when it comes to actually writing sometimes, but I wouldn’t take my readers for granted. Wish I’d seen this sooner, it’s always good to give thanks.
Birds last blog post..Every day is Earth Day
@bird
this is the first year for this event so I’m not surprised you weren’t aware of it. Hopefully we will do this again next year. But while you are here I want to thnank you for supporting me.
