After a couple of weeks of appointments with this specialist and that specialist I now am awaiting the arrival of an expensive but also, priceless package.
In it will be two pairs of eyeglasses and when I wear them I will be able to see better. In fact, I will see well enough to be able to read books again. YAY!
I will be wearing one pair of glasses all of the time. The other is strictly for working in front of the computer so I’ll have no excuse for not keeping up with reading your blogs, commenting and sending you link love.
I’m so happy that I’m over the moon.
Sheesh … what else can I say?

I share your glee, brightfeather. I have three pair of glasses for different applications (including computer) and it’s very frustrating to try to coordinate lenses and eyes and reading materials. I know you have more vision challenges that I do, so I am thrilled for you that your new glasses will soon arrive! Let us know how they are.

@MusEditions
It’s great to hear from you. I’ve been struggling to cope and was almost ready to give up this domain but the doctors all reassure me that I will be able to see better and I’m holding onto that. I guess you will know how well I’m doing or not based on whether you see an increase in posting or not.

@dogsrbest
Welcome and yes I’m really excited.
P.S. I don’t recall ever registering for the site you mention and I see that the screenshot is quite old.

i actually have very high prescription for my glasses, for someone my age, so i think i appreciate the gift of sight more than other senses. (i always say i’d go deaf first before going blind.) so yeah, i think i know how you feel about being able to see properly with the right glasses. :) take good care of them!
