One said, yeah, I started kinda late. – I was 14 and the rest of my friends had started when they were 11 or12. They were all from small towns in northern BC and Alberta, where boredom does reign.

Actually I think that the vast majority of Canadian kids and American kids do initiate their sex lives prior to the age of 15 years. This means that those who are least emotionally equipped to participate in a healthy lifelong relationship don’t establish or maintain enduring relationships per say – they just have sex.

That’s a huge figure. Ofcourse one cannot compare this to more conservative cultures as people won’t readily admit to it. but I wonder how it is as compared to the Uk and the US?

The other numbers that surprised me as well were the differences between French and English stats on orgasms.

Some of those results are pretty eye-opening. One in four routinely fake orgasms? Points to a horrendous lack of communication in Canadian bedrooms, doesn’t it?

They should have broken that under-18 question down further. I think they’d have been surprised to know that a large percentage had their first sex before 14. At least that was the result of the informal survey I once took.
