Moving forward

When I read this post I decided to do one of my own rather than leaving a lengthy comment. Actually I don’t want to touch on the state of the world, industrial societies and the impending environmental crises at all. This is because I’ve been dealing with my own dilemma.

I’ve made many mistakes; far too many to count. I made mistakes prior to becoming conscious and I continue to make them now, whenever my consciousness lapses. Regardless of how many times I stumble, fall and, even break my vows I will continue to recognize my mistakes, make corrections and move in the only direction I can move - forward.

Sometimes I feel like I have an inner road map of where I’m going and sometimes I don’t. In times when I lack a sense of direction, when I don’t know what to do next I’m afraid to move at all so, I find myself backsliding.

The jump start comes when I recognize the truth. This old world just keeps spinning round and round into the future and forward is the only direction we can ever move in.

A negative experience in the cyber world has helped me to recognize that I needed to step out of it and then make a course correction. Consequently, you will see changes in the blog. I hope you like them.

Thank you readers for your messages ->

Explore your possibilities: change is the only constant. From time to time, you may need to reinvent yourself so always be ready to move forward.

Nothing persists but change. Embrace it!

I have. It was a struggle at first because I was sucker punched but, as things unfolded, I knew for sure where I did not want to be. I don’t want to be part of any cyber community where a lack of respect and recognition for the volunteers’ contribution to the corporation leaves the volunteers subject to being treated the way we have seen. Worse still is that while they were “purging” supposed “bad elements” they were fabricating excuses for their atrocious behavior.

Relationships are built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust and recognition. When the people at the top end of a corporation lack what it takes to build healthy relationships, people at the bottom become easy pickings for the ruthless.

I always find change a difficult thing to embrace, mainly because a lot of the time it’s unexpected. I tend to see change in others more than myself… but I embrace it, because that’s the only way to move forward.

Even when change is forced upon us, all we can really do is to embrace it with as much grace as we can and move on. It doesn’t mean we forget (how could we?) but hanging onto the past only damages us more. We’ll take new risks and make mistakes, but that’s a part of moving forward as well… a part of life.

May your changes bring you more peace in your life. And thanks for the post. It reminded me of a couple me of a couple of lines from Fleetwood Mac’s Landslides… I love that song and Stevie Nicks, so thanks for bringing it to mind. ;)

Sometimes events seemingly overtake us but that’s because we are not really conscious of the larger picture. When things are not good we move on and, when we suffer from immobilization, we hang on to our hope that the change is going to do us good.

I know Landslide and I love it so thanks for reminding me of it. Anyway, I’m taking some time to get another project in order and then I’ll be back to blogging here.
Thank you for your blessing cj.
    Namaste

We have eyes in the front of our heads so that we look forwards. What’s at the rear? LOL. Forward is good.

Be good to yourself! You deserve it.
