I have been tagged by Richard to reveal seven things about myself so, here goes …
(1) I have two blogging “handles”. My timethief blogging handle signifies that I have twice won my life back from the grim reaper. My brightfeather blogging handle comes from a memory I have as a four year old. I remember standing by a long row of pink, rose and wine colored hollyhocks and watching motionlessly as a hummingbird flew in and entered a flower just past my nose. A tiny red feather fell from the bird and landed on my moccasin.
(2) I prefer vegetarian food and the way to my heart is through my stomach (I love men who can cook).
(3) My favourite animal is the horse but I love all animals — domestic and wild.
(4) This summer I gave up being a bra-less hippy chick and became addicted to wearing expensive, lacy lingerie.
(5) I’m into aromatherapy and I love bubblebaths.
(6) I do not like wearing nail polish on my finger and toe nails.
(7) Regardless of the season, I always wear socks to bed.
I’m choosing not to tag any particular readers. Instead, I’m calling for volunteers.

I had always meant to ask where your handle came from and now I know. Thanks for sharing that.
I got to ride a horse for the first time in a long time this summer, and rekindled my love of horses. It was great after the ride when the saddles had were off and the horses were eating, the one I had ridden came over to the fence, put his head over and pressed it gently against my chest. It was a magical moment.
Some of these things I knew about you from reading your blog. But 5,6,&7–hmmm!
#1 is beautiful and special!
#5 – you’ve reminded me about using aroma therapy more.
#6 – well, I’d have to agree with you there :)
#7 – really? even in the summer? I tend to have chilly extremeties, but in the desert in July when it’s 107F even I don’t need socks. Bring your toes down here sometime and visit!

When the two of you commented on my post I was unwell and did not have the energy to type more than a single sentence.
I have improved now. I finally got an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. And I expect to be back to feeling like my “normal” self in a few days.
