But green couriers are actually a growing and thriving sector nationwide – from funkily-clad cyclists dashing around town to large hybrid or battery-powered fleets thundering down the TransCanada.
Robert Safrata, CEO of Richmond-based Novex Couriers, one of the largest in the Lower Mainland, was the first to start looking to the triple bottom line in the courier industry.
