Have a Green Thanksgiving
Thanksgreening: the new family tradition
Mere days ago we were sweltering through the dog days of August. Suddenly, it’s Thanksgiving. Whether you look forward to a roasted bird or a tofurkey feast, Thanksgiving has its roots in expressing gratitude for the harvest. And there are lots of ways to celebrate and be kind to the planet.

It’s at Thanksgiving I really miss Canada. We have beautiful fall weather here, just like I remember it, but there’s no special day Monday where families get together to celebrate.

happy thanksgiving!
since we’re in the US, we have vegan Canadian thanksgiving, and the uh… butterball version with my family on US thanksgiving. We bought one of the last UnTurkeys last year (before Now & Zen discontinued them). It was delicious last night, and even better today :D

Thanks for stopping in and wishing me a good thanksgiving. The weather here this weekend has certainly convinced us that winter gales are on their way. I’m sure you can clearly recall the gales on the coast and we just had the first one. We woke up to a power outage - bother!
Although you will not have a large family gathering where you are I’ll light a candle for you here and you can light one for me.
May you always have many things to be thankful for.

@adam
I’ve been thinking about you and about my inability to comment on the geekier posts you write …lol. I’m wishing you all the best this thanksgiving and I hope you have an abundance to be thankful for in the upcoming year.
