  1. I’m completely hopeless! I got 2, count ‘em 2, correct! My conclusions are these: better stay at WordPres.com and let other people do the work for me; and this is a good list of things to learn more about. Thanks. I think.

  2. I’m roaring with laughter. I only got 2 too and they were wild guesses. :)

  3. i just took the test and my score is 55% !
i have learned one thing for sure, i am a pro guesser! :D

if i take the test again, i will flunk for sure. if only i were also a pro memorizer!

  4. WOW! I’m really impressed. :)
    I was pathetic. :(

  5. I wouldn’t worry. I AM a pro blogger (and today I just got another paid gig) and I only got 40% right.

  6. Another way to look at it is this: if you want to become a pro blogger, it’s like anything: you have to do some research, you have to learn things you don’t already know, then apply what you learned in the real world.

A more appropriate measure of what it takes to be a pro blogger is a test to determine how good a businessperson you would be. Because a pro blog is a business, after all.

  7. So, you, O Knowledgeable One, only got 2 right? Hmmm…from how it was presented, I would have thought you’d aced it. I think you are guilty of sneakypostism! :)

You’re quite right. It takes the similar skills to run a business as it does to become a pro blogger. And … lol … although I am a partner in a small business it’s not one based on writing. I doubt that I’ll ever be inclined to acquire the skills required to become a blogging pro because I lack the inclination. I’m just not a “geeky” type.

Oh no - you have exposed me. I confess that I’m always guilty of “sneakypostism”. Most bloggers put their opinions up front in their posts and then buttress them with research. That’s not my style. I prefer to put what I read up front and see if any readers want to dialog about it. If they do then my opinions become evident in my responses to their comments. I’m an introverted blogger and my style is quite the opposite of most bloggers who are extroverted.

I’m also one of those people who suffer from performance anxiety. I freeze when tested or quizzed. My mind turns to mush and I begin to sweat. The fact that I choked out 2 correct answers doesn’t surprise me. However, if asked the same questions in conversation I’m sure I would have done better.

I’m so very happy that you didn’t report a 65% score. It’s my experience that once people know that much about any subject connected with making an income that they do not share. Please feel free to educate me any time - just don’t try and quiz my retention ability immediately afterwards, okay? :)

  11. Well if we do it in the comments, you can always re-read them. What do you want to know? And by the way, NONE of the crap in the test relates to what I actually do.

Thanks but as none of the test answers are really that important I’ll pass when it comes to asking questions and worrying about answers.
