Gifts That Made Me Howl
On my birthday my niece gave me a variety of gifts that made me laugh.
I reached into a beautifully decorated gift bag and the first thing I pulled out was a tiny orange metal box of “Age Reducing Mints“. Next came a small plaque based on the Latin meaning of my name that describes me to a “T”.
There were lots of small thoughtful and fun things in the bag too like Haiku - a magnetic word poetry kit.
The last thing I pulled from the bag was a tiny book entitled “Bumper Sticker Wisdom for the Bumpy Roads in Life”. It fell open at a page that read this:
Someday your prince will come. Mine got lost, took a wrong turn and is to stubborn to ask for directions.
