Dragon Dreaming
To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you let yourself get carried away by your passion. This kind of behavior may lead you into the hands of enemies. You need to exercise some self-control.

The Dream

I was sleeping and then I sensed a malevolent presence. I jumped up and ran outside terrified, stark naked and running away from something.

I fled into the dark shadows and dodged through clinging vines that wrapped around me and trapped me. I tore them off me and continued to escape through brambles and briars that tore my flesh. I was bleeding.

I was screaming, scrambling and climbing over large rocks, while a loud cold wind was blowing and gusting all around me and rain was falling in sheets.

I tripped and I fell down. That’s when I saw a hole and I crawled into a long tunnel that led to a deep cave. Inside of it was a black dragon. A battle ensued and I drove the dragon off with my magic sword, a sword that materialized out of nowhere at my command.
Black Dragons
Black dragons are thought to be the most evil. They have deceptive ways and are often out only to meet their own needs. They are known as the Plight of the Land, usually, and are loathed by the people they live near. When you think about it, black dragons are like undead dragons, they are considered evil because of the color.

Black is known as a color of evil because it represents night, and in the night you can not see. So, it is clear why black dragons get such a bad reputation. I have not read a story about a good black dragon just yet, but there are some in Pern…rare, though.

For the Dragons of the East, black is a chaotic color. Black Eastern Dragons are said to cause lightning storms when they fight. They are also said to be symbols of the North.
